YES of COURSE we have to have the diving-into-the-river introduction, and the two of them sitting naked in the inn afterward (wrapped in sheets! but nonetheless! sheets that should slip to show off their leanly muscled torsos and ofc Aymar's jartier...). Plenty of swooning. So much longing. Seven episodes of the viewers screaming NOW KISS and then finally after Aymar's name is cleared they do.
Not sure how to deal with Avoye in the adaptation. What if she's Aymar's sister so she can still have her plot relevance but also doesn't get in the way of the Aymar/Laurent romance?
