o_O Yowzers…if book one built up Pat’s love of her home as a good and relatable thing, then destroying it and giving her a consolation prize hubby (“hey, it’s that guyyyyy! You loved him all along, right? Please tell the readers that, kk?”) seems disastrous. (Clearly I have never read either book, just basing this on what you say…)
