Good Morning

osprey_archerI have at home a string of beads with a prism at the end. I hang it in my window, and it shatters rainbows all over my room in the mornings.
I wish I'd brought it with me. The early morning sun angles in through my window, so the screen glows and the dust glitters and the world appears enchanted. I think rainbows would be a sterling addition.
You know, it's funny. I don't like getting up in the mornings - it's just so much work, you know? - but I like being up: I like breakfast and early morning sunshine and dew on the grass, and I always get more done in the mornings than the evenings. I can't concentrate well after nine o'clock.
I may be a morning person. How did I not notice this till now?
