We happened upon the tail end of an owl presentation at a park, and I got stacks of photos of this great horned beauty. Isn't he cute?
And this:
Two turkeys, out for a stroll on a Minneapolis side street, pause to look in a bakery window. ("I agree, Tom. We should get a dozen donuts. I vote for bismarcks.") Do poultry pairs usually cruise the mean streets of the Twin Cities? Do I have reason to fear the Allied Poultry Front? Who knows?
