Gender-neutral gingerbread
Mar. 25th, 2011 11:03 amCaitlin and I went out for ice cream. "...so then we discussed why there weren't any gender neutral gingerbread at tea," she said, licking her mint chocolate chip. "This gender binary! We must break it down!"
"But how are people going to know it's a gender neutral gingerbread?" I asked. "If you just get rid of the gender markers I think they'll just assume it's male."
"Oh no," Caitlin said. "Our male gingerbread men are very masculine."
"How?" I asked. "Do they have - anatomy?"
Caitlin snicked so much that a blob of ice cream fell on her shirt, and assured me that their masculine gingerbread was anatomy-free.
