Three weeks
Feb. 25th, 2011 06:32 pmMy computer is officially borked, and will remain that way till I have time to deal with it over spring break. Fortunately (and disturbingly presciently) I backed up the most important files a couple weeks ago (the novel I wrote when I was 16 is Safe For Posterity), and my thesis paper is on the school network and thus unaffected THANK GOD.
In happier news, I'm going to fulfill my grad requirements at the end of this term - my school's on a trimester system, so that's in mid-March - so I'm three weeks away from done! SO WEIRD.
Also, the school cinema is showing Mr. Smith Goes to Washington tonight. I love Jimmy Stewart! I love the scene where he sightsees in Washington, all starry-eyed, and visits the Lincoln Memorial at night...
Edited to add: God, I'm so frazzled this week...the whole point of this entry was to say that I'm not going to be around too much for a while, on account of the computer and having a thesis to write and being, in generally, woefully frazzled because I need to get everything in order.
