YES, I loved the "epiphanies" that turned out to be wildass theorizing only vaguely connected to the facts! Haven't we ALL had epiphanies like that. How often do fictional characters have such epiphanies, only they turn out to be true through the sheer power of their protagonisthood? Refreshing really to see Katinka's epiphanies repeatedly fall apart as everyone blinks at her, astounded by her latest accusation.
