You're right, if there were any indication that Boris loved his wife more than Theo, Theo would pick up on it and probably spend ten pags pages explaining how he was DEFINITELY NOT JEALOUS, in a way that makes him sound 10,000x more jealous than just saying "I felt jealous" ever would.
