This was my first year making nominations too - similar reasoning!

I nominated Diana Wynne Jones x 2 (The Homeward Bounders, the Howl Series) and Kate Elliott's Jaran Series.

The new nomination system put the fear of god in lazybones like us, didn't it?

But actually, I like the new system - I like the way that everyone teamed up to make sure that everything, or nearly everything, got nominated. Yuletide has such great community spirit!
