Yes, Klara and the Sun is that kind of science fiction too: Ishiguro's not much interested in how the world got this way, but very interested in what he can do with the way that it is. And I really liked how he dealt with robot POV - not just Klara's worldview, but the way that Klara's senses are different from human senses, for instance.
