Yes, FotH definitely feels more grounded. The Wounded Name is very tightly focused on Laurent and Aymar and Aymar's EXTENSIVE SUFFERING, which is loads of fun, but it does feel pretty much unmoored from the wider context. Napoleon and the Royalists are off doing something somewhere, but we all know how that ends anyway, so let's laser focus in on Aymar wounded almost to death in his prison cell!
