The part where they kill a unicorn to please Morgause and she's so annoyed about something entirely unrelated to them that she has them whipped.

This has haunted me my ENTIRE LIFE since I first read it as a child. They killed it to please her and it was for nothing. On the other hand almost zero memory of the questing beast lol.
