PLEASE report back on Tales of the Cloister if you get to it first, I'm so curious!

(I hit the Dreamy Mountain Youth story and I was like 'wow? a young man? this seems out of character for Ruth' and then it turned out this was all a proxy for her connection with the dissolute Spanish dancer and all came clear to me.)
