I heard a rave review of this, and since I'd just read Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Ruin, which features octopus characters--and since I like octopuses--I was eager to watch it, but I bounced off early because I took a dislike to Foster. This was before he'd even *met* the octopus; I just didn't like his self-narration, his commentary on his own life and situation.

I should probably go back and try again, though, for the sake of the octopus herself, so curious and friendly.
