Yes, I REALLY wonder what Ian's father is going to make of this "I'm marrying Miss Campbell but it's FINE because she's ADOPTED" thing. I can see why Ian went for it, because obviously he would have clutched at every straw, but Ian's father has no such incentive to accept that this means the match is fine after all.
