War: neither brutal nor glorious, but an unending source of hilarious mix-ups!

I don't think I've actually seen any of these, except MASH, which pauses occasionally to remind the viewers that War Is Brutal, Actually. (My mother is still bitter about the episode where they killed the colonel just as he was going home. Yes, war is brutal, but MASH was NOT that kind of show, and they broke their unspoken contract with the viewers!)
