Oh yeah. Lawrence in particular leans hard on the IN TOUCH WITH NATURE thing. The gamekeeper is in touch with his wild, masculine needs, unlike the denizens of our effete, mechanized civilization! Plus of course conveniently available to Lady Chatterly with a cottage where they can bang.
