It's 12:45 a.m. and I have got to get to The Marital Bed and go to sleep but damn is this wonderful. I love the detail of Russell's accent being that of another time. You get that watching early talkies, too -- though some of the difference in that case is b/c of the era's theatrical training I think -- and how much more pronounced* it must be when the accent is from a time before sound recording was commonplace.
