Mark eyed the rabbit's leathery bat wings. "You," he told the rabbit, "are above my pay grade."
The rabbit sneezed.
"I think," said Mark, and his heart began to beat faster, "I'm going to have to take you to Gabriel."
(Will Mark arrive just in time to help Gabriel sew up his gashed arm after Gabriel's orphaned baby griffin got just a little too playful? MAYBE.)
