I love that Joanna Russ book so much! It's so sharp and has stayed inexplicably relevant despite eviscerating everything in its path back in. . .1983? Oh, time. And I haven't read Go Tell it On the Mountain specifically, but I'm excited for you to read it because James Baldwin is the best there is at what he does.
