Not only is the song-and-dance number weird for its own sake, because it just hadn't been that kind of show up until that point, but I remember being appalled that they were going to stop everything dead for this lengthy number when they still had so many loose ends still flapping in the breeze and so little time to wrap them up. There are two episodes left to stop an amazingly overpowered villain (who is now the head of an equally overpowered evil organization) and this is what we're going to spend our time on??
