I feel like there's an f/f story about Helen, the gallant plucky 1910s heroine, and the girl who has a crush on her who keeps putting herself In Peril just so Helen can save her. "Oh Helen! I can't imagine how I keep getting tied to the railroad tracks! SO silly of me."
