The sad truth is that I don't own And All Between so I can't check (I really ought to do something about this), but I think you're right - it's not illustrated - although there is an earlier illustration of the two of them playing Five-Pense, which I love.

The Headless Cupid is great! I wouldn't call it ZKS's best (although of course you know I'm biased!), but that's because she's got so many great books to choose from that it's hard to make a choice.

I do think it's one of her best-constructed books, though. Many of her books tail off a bit at the end, but The Headless Cupid is strong all the way through.
