GOVERNMENT SPENDING IS GOVERNMENT SPENDING EVEN WHEN IT IS FOR ROADS.

I don't know why conservatives see road spending as a totally different thing than railroad or public transit spending, except that their crusade against communism turned them against everything even a little bit collective.
