Oooooh. Well, if you do get a chance to read Daddy-long-legs, I highly recommend it! It goes off a bit at the end in the way early twentieth century girls books often do go off a bit, but it's crammed full of good stuff before that. It's about a girl going to a woman's college and her intellectual development and discovery of socialism etc. etc. and all around it's just a good time.
