The Good Place grew on me. The first couple of episodes didn't win me over: it was only literally EVERYONE OF MY ACQUAINTANCE talking about how good it was that made me push on, and by the time I got to the reveal about Jason, I was won over (although only to the level of enjoyment, not super-devotion). I do love Janet; she's wonderful, and I loved the flashbacks to Tahani's sister, who was a wonderfully awful person to have to be in competition with. Tahani was probably the character who grew on me the most. (Janet I liked pretty much from the start, Jason I liked in the initial reveal, but then I thought they dumbed him down too much.) Chidi is a very agreeable straightman, though I don't really believe in his failing. For me, Eleanor is merely okay, but "okay" is not bad!
