Welcome home! I hope the last leg of your journey is as good as the rest. I've never had beer bread, but "piping hot with brie" sounds like a good plan for most kinds of bread. I'm glad you got to visit friends, read books, and eat delicious food.

SOMEDAY I'll go to Amherst - maybe even this fall, if I can get it together. I have such a weakness for people's preserved houses with all their things set out on tables.
