How funny! A friend lent me the DVD, and I have also now watched it for the first time this weekend! I thought it delightful, too. I've never been in HP fandom, partly because I find it a fun world to visit, and don't want to spoil it. This was, with the *cough* 'historical' setting and an adult cast, with a very 11th-Doctor-like hero was pretty delightful and the only problem is that now I still have to get the DVD for myself, because I liked it too much.

(Tho, I didn't realise there was a name difference in it - Mary Lou was Queenie in my (no doubt British) edition! I wonder why?)
