This is sounds like a book from the perspective of someone who grows apart from a friend and then can totally drop her and forget her--which is AWFUL if you've ever been dropped and forgotten, and also *not representative* if you've ever grown away from someone and lost interest but still care about them as a person and would never, ever just leave their bouquet behind!
... aaahhhhh actually upon reflection maybe it would be too painful to read. I think roller derby sounds like so much fun, but I love ballet too and I get the impression this book is very either/or.
