Maybe if a reeeallly nuff time (to stress "enough" with an infix) goes by, she will reach out to you, and maybe explain what was going on with her, and then, if your own hurt has subsided, maybe there'll be something of a reconciliation, even if you never become close friends again. But maybe she's grown into a not-so-nice person, or is anyway going through a not-so-nice patch, or what-have-you. I believe that it doesn't invalidate the friendship in the past, though: that was real, while it lasted.
