One more thing. I noticed all the drowned woman imagery as I read Unspoken, and the dependence of the Lynburns on water for their well-being. I wonder if the Lynburns are actually half-human, or not human at all. Maybe they're the Rusalka or Lorelei or Melusine of folklore.
