Hoooooooooome splat

osprey_archerWednesday: Cleaned all the things. (Seriously. I scrubbed the sink. I spritzed the walls. I dusted the top of the refrigerator.) Packed up apartment. Unwisely packed up the couch, and therefore slept on the floor.
Note to self: never sleep on the floor again.
Thursday: Nine hour drive home. Temperature around 100 degrees. But I was driving east, so out of the sun, so all was well.
My brain is kind of mush right now.
But on the bright side, we went to the university library today and I have ALL THE BOOKS. I have a book about pirates in the Mediterranean! And a book about home life in Georgian England! Also Saundra Mitchell's The Vespertine, which I've been awaiting impatiently. Regenerate, brain! There is much reading to attend to!
