Hamlet is definitely one of those shows that I've had to come to over the course of a long, long exposure and gradually realized that I'd been developing feelings and opinions about it .... I remember specifically reading a particular sci-fi novel that was a Hamlet riff and going 'I didn't think I'd care that you put a guy in the Hamlet position that's definitely not my idea of Hamlet! But this is definitely not my idea of Hamlet!'
