I think I read The Neverending Story a long time ago and my recollection is that I didn't really like it but I might appreciate it more now. As I've grown older, I think I've gotten better at appreciating books that are good but not exactly aimed at my personal taste. For instance, I don't know that I would have liked Seaward if I'd read it during my Boggart phase.
