LMM does about the best version possible of the 'if any of these characters spoke to each other for 5 minutes there would be no plot' romance, but yes, it does flag a bit compared to all the fun of the other books. Also I'm glad I read The Blue Castle with good!Dean because I always had a soft spot for Dean, all-consuming jealousy and all /o\
