Oh wow, A Chain of Hands sounds great, and extremely relevant to my interests! Not so much the 1900 Idaho college town part -- that sounds deeply interesting, but it's not a pre-existing interest per se beyond my general interest in history -- but keeping alive the memory of unimportant, everyday people, who are important and worth remembering because, like everyone else, they were people and they were part of their community.
